Check Android App Support
Some Chromebooks can run Android applications, while others cannot. The answer depends on the specific model, ChromeOS version, administrator restrictions, and Android-app support. Open Chromebook settings and determine whether the device supports Android applications.

How Chromebook Compatibility Differs From Android Phones

If the APK cannot be selected or Android settings are unavailable, first confirm model support and administrator policy. A blocked managed Chromebook is not the same problem as an incompatible APK.
