DMCA & Rights-Holder Requests

How copyright and rights-holder notices should identify material hosted on this site.

DMCA and Rights-Holder Requests

If you believe material hosted directly on this website infringes copyright or another right, send a specific notice to [email protected]. The request should identify the exact material so it can be located and reviewed.

Include in Your Notice

  • The exact URL on this website where the material appears.
  • A description of the copyrighted work or right you represent.
  • Your name and contact information.
  • A statement explaining your authority to act for the rights holder.
  • The action you are requesting.
  • Any legally required good-faith and accuracy statements applicable to your jurisdiction.

Content Inside Third-Party Services

This website cannot directly remove material that exists only inside a third-party app, marketplace or external download host and is not hosted here. In that case, contact the operator that actually stores or distributes the material.

False or Incomplete Notices

Notices that do not identify a URL or the material at issue may be returned for clarification. Do not submit personal data that is unnecessary for the request.

What Happens to a Complete Notice

A complete notice is reviewed against the material hosted or controlled by this website. When removal or disabling is appropriate, the affected URL or file can be changed without pretending that the same material has been removed from unrelated third-party hosts. Requests are handled according to the applicable law and the facts of the notice.

Trademark and Other Rights

If the concern is trademark use, impersonation, privacy or another right rather than copyright, identify that basis clearly. The site should not force every rights-holder request into a copyright template when a different issue is actually being reported.

Links Versus Hosted Files

A page can discuss or link to software without storing the underlying APK on the same server. A notice should distinguish between content hosted here and content available only on an external service so the requested action can be directed to the party that controls it.
